WREXHAM GLYNDWR UNIVERSITY’S POSTGRADUATE DEGREE SHOW OPENS ITS DOORS TO THE PUBLIC
A Degree Show which gives the public the opportunity to see the diverse skills of students on this year’s arts and design Masters programmes at Wrexham Glyndwr University opens its doors tomorrow.
Denouement, the MA exhibition at the Regent Street campus, began with a private viewing last Friday, August 16.
Dr Karen Heald, Programme Leader for both the MA in Art Practice and the MA in Design Practice said: “This year’s show features a diverse range of styles and practices from our Postgraduate students.
“Our Masters courses in Art Practice and Design Practice have drawn artists from a wide range of backgrounds and ages – but what this show demonstrates is how their practice, and the resulting work, has evolved over their degree.
“Each artist and designer benefits from studio space, facilities and staff expertise throughout their course, and this is an ideal chance for people to see their work up close in an intimate setting.”
The show is open to the public from Tuesday, 20th August until Friday, August 30 between 10am and 4pm every weekday. The show will be closed to the public for an assessment day on Aug 22 and also August Bank Holiday Monday.
