The Aeronauts

Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne reunite in the thrilling drama written by Jack Thorne. Set in 1862, The Aeronauts follows wealthy young widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and headstrong scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. Film will show each night at 7:30pm at Theatr Colwyn

CATS

Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, James Cordon, Idris Elba, Jason Derulo, Rebel Wilson, Judi Dench and Ian McKellen all come for the cinema event of the year. CATS tells the story of a young kitten abandoned in London, who encounters a tribe of cats who come together once a year – the night of the Jellicle Ball. Film will play during various times at the Ucheldre Centre

Join musician Andy Pidcock and members of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales in a series of music workshops. Andy will even let you try out various instruments from the orchestra and make some music! Music starts at 10am on both days at Venue Cymru

Ruthin Gaol Ghost Hunt

Ghost Hunting at Ruthin Gaol in Denbighshire is not for the feint-hearted. With the building being used to torment and hold the cruelest of criminals, a ghost hunt at Ruthin Gaol is sure to excite even the most experienced ghost hunter! Walk in the footsteps of past criminals, incarcerated for wrong doing – or simply for being in debt! Will you brave locking yourself in a cell, calling out to those who now remain in spirit and invite them to sit beside you all alone in the dark? Ghost Hunt starts at 9pm and ends at 2am

Lucian Freud: A Self Portrait (Film)

For the first time in history, the Royal Academy of Arts in London, in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, is bringing together Lucian Freud’s self-portraits. The exhibition will display more than 50 paintings, prints and drawings in which this modern master of British art turned his unflinching eye firmly on himself
